Analytics help
Cybernut Analytics is powered by Umami. Use your named, view-only account to read the website reports assigned to you. No VPN is needed.
Analytics sign-inYour first sign-in
- Open analytics.cybernut.org. Enter the username and initial password supplied privately by your operator. If you have not received them, contact support.
- Complete the required two-factor authentication (MFA) setup. In your authenticator app, scan the QR code shown by Umami, or enter its manual setup key. Enter the current six-digit code from the app to confirm.
- Save your recovery codes, called backup codes in Umami. You can download them during setup. Keep them somewhere secure that you can reach if you lose your phone. Confirm that you have saved them before closing the setup window. Each code works once.
- Go to Settings → Profile → Change password. Enter your current password, your new password, and its confirmation, then select Save. Choose a unique password and store it securely. Change the initial password yourself; the application does not force this at first sign-in. If you are returned to sign-in, use the new password and your authenticator.
On later visits, sign in with your username and password, then enter your current authenticator code. Your account lets you read assigned reports; changes to websites and team membership are handled by the operator.
Sign-in problems
Invalid, expired, or already-used code
Check that you selected the correct Umami account in your authenticator. Wait for a fresh code and enter it once. Turn on automatic date and time on the device running your authenticator so its clock stays synchronized. If the sign-in session has expired, start again with your username and password.
Repeated attempts can temporarily limit sign-in. Stop retrying and wait for the lockout time shown, if there is one, before trying again. If the problem continues, contact support.
Lost authenticator or recovery codes
If you still have an unused backup code, sign in with your username and password, choose Use a backup code instead at the two-factor prompt, and enter that code. Then contact support to arrange authenticator recovery.
If you have no working authenticator and no unused backup code, contact the operator for identity-verified recovery. If you lost only your backup codes but your authenticator still works, keep using it and ask the operator for help replacing the codes.
Password or account not working
Use the exact username supplied to you; do not assume it is your email address. If you forgot your password, did not receive account details, or see a permission error, contact support. Account setup and recovery are handled by the operator.
Finding and reading reports
A quick guide to websites, dates, filters, and counts
If the expected website is missing, check the selected team. EOTS viewers should select EOTS. If it is still missing or access is denied, ask the operator to check your account permissions.
For an empty report, check the website, selected date range, and any active filters. Try a period when you expect activity. An empty result may mean no activity was recorded in that period; it does not by itself prove a fault or that nobody visited. Send support the website name, date range, and a description of what you see.
Early counts are preliminary, and collection covers only part of the audience. EOTS country reporting, when enabled, begins from its activation date; earlier visits remain unknown. Country is inferred from the network and may reflect a VPN or proxy, not someone’s residence. EOTS does not collect state, city, or precise location. RipleyNet may show approximate country, state/region, and city from its separate regional-reporting activation onward; these are estimated network locations. Geography stays disabled for Cybernut and JamesRipley.me. Episode-page views are not podcast listens, and sponsor clicks are not sales.
Country reporting includes GeoLite Data created by MaxMind. Sponsor reports withhold small country groups; authorized internal dashboards can show smaller aggregate counts. Share the reviewed sponsor summary rather than dashboard screenshots.
For EOTS sponsor reporting, the clean reporting period starts on September 20, 2026 at 14:22:50 UTC (10:22:50 a.m. EDT). Earlier history includes launch checks and other traffic. Rolling dashboard totals can include it; ask the operator for a reviewed sponsor summary before using totals in sponsor claims.
Contact support
Email hello@ripleynet.net to reach the operator. Describe the problem, the website you need, and any error message. For account recovery, the operator will verify your identity before restoring access.
Never send passwords, one-time authenticator codes, setup keys (MFA seeds), QR codes, or recovery codes. Keep them out of messages and screenshots, including when requesting help.
